Job Description: Show Barn Hand

Position Summary:
Show Barn help is responsible for all aspects of daily show barn operations, ensuring the health, well-being and presentation of the show and sale cattle. The role requires flexibility, talent, and a willingness to work varying hours, including weekends.  Seasonal help is an option to get through the spring sale and show season or long-term employment for the right fit. 

Pay is hourly and dependent on skills.

 Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Travel to and assist customers at stock shows, assisting with all show-day duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with and showing cattle is essential.
  • Knowledge of animal husbandry, livestock health, and nutrition practices.
  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
